I'm a journalism intern here at trend hunter and a recent graduate from UBC. Completing a degree in political science has opened up my eyes to the world and has really kept me interested and up to date with current events. I also strongly believe in community and try to give my time to volunteering whenever I can. I am a yoga and running enthusiast and am a bit of a nut for everything and anything elephant. Most of all, I have a passion for the written word and love how people can convey their own uniqueness and viewpoint through the way they express themselves through words.
What's your favorite accomplishment?
Fundraising for a charitable organization in the Downtown Eastside in Vancouver, which is considered one of the poorest area codes in North America.
How do you define cool?
Cool is being unique and different while simultaneously appealing to the masses.
What is your secret to uncovering trends?
Scouring various blogs, websites and tweets (many of which are listed on trend hunter) is usually a good place to start
What do you enjoy most about Trend Hunter?
My favorite part is the fact that anyone and everyone can contribute the latest trends to this website, which ultimately gives everyone a voice and allows for the most interesting trends to be found on one convenient site.
