My blood type is AB- (universal receiver), my horoscope said that I should be a Police Negotiator.
What's your favorite accomplishment?
As of now it's getting my B.A. and moving out of my parent's basement. I'm serious
How do you define cool?
I don't think there's a universal definition of "cool," at least there certainly should not be a universal approach towards it. For me what's cool is something that appeals directly towards something that is inherently unique to you and your interests. What's very uncool is someone who, after being told what is cool, feels the need to adhere to that image, resulting in the very antithesis of originality.
What is your secret to uncovering trends?
If I told you I would have to kill you.
What do you enjoy most about Trend Hunter?
The "related trends" portion of a post. Goes to prove that procrastination that was intended to last 5 minutes can extend up to and including 2 hours.
What is your favorite trend?
Anything found under Tech is usually bound to peak my interests.
What are your tips for writing a juicy post?
Find an environment in which you're comfortable to remain in for a few hours, that allows you to get your creative juices flowing (someplace with window helps for me personally). Listening to classical music and reading other people's example of good writing inspires and helps me to write something relatively coherent.
How do you reset to be creative?
Read or watch something that is particularly inspiring or creative. Go for a run or a walk (if you're a smoker) and listen to music. Change of scenery, move around once one area seems to be blocking your creative flow.
What inspires or excites you?
Anything post-apocalypse, sci-fi, fantasy or zombie related. A good book or film (usually in the genre of the aforementioned topics). The pairing of visuals and music in movies, anything by Wes Anderson or Quentin Tarantino is a safe bet.
Predict something awesome for 2020?
Mankind will begin to rebuild civilization from the rubble left behind after 2012...with me as its leader?
