In stark contrast to the high-gloss, super modern faceted perspex and plastic accessories, the trend for coarse metal jewellery for spring/summer 2007 has been seen in several accessories collections.
Familiar metal fixings such as screws, nails, washers and copper pipe appear to be a key inspiration. Both manipulated and used in their crude state, these components take on a new aesthetic to produce minimal, at times futuristic, pieces of jewellery.
