Japanese businesswomen have picked up on the Geisha concept and are paying up to $50,000 a night for male companionship. They meet their hosts in the hundreds of venues that have established themselves for this type of meeting around Tokyo. The only exchange between the individuals is compliments, not sex. The women are paying only for a man’s undivided attention.
