Rolling Rock, the beer company famous for that mysterious number '33', is trying yet another oddball marketing approach - moonvertising. A clever gag or a scientific marvel? We'll all find out on March…

So... people don't remember Amatil's idea of painting the Coke symbol on the moon with powder rockets back in the 70's or 80's ? It was shot down due to the moon being terra nullius.

Similar to holographic images for the eyes, this new technique could be compared to a type of 3-D experience for the ears. The technology used in Pink Floyd's newest album, "The Final Cut,"produced excellent…

Thanks for translating the above description in to Spanish . Pink Floyd's The Final Cut was a Holophonic recording using Hugo Zuccarelli's system which is basically a form of binaural recording (if the binaural recording uses either a real or dummy head). The binaural recordings I create use microphones placed in the ear akin to earbud headphones - which, when recorded on the correct media (stereo quality a la HD Minidisc) produce spatial acuity and a 3d soundscape. Well worth looking in to. This is not the same as Holophony. Further info : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holophonics and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holophonic .

They're called Fuzzi Bunz and they look like little bikini bottoms with buttons. Invented by Tereson Thomas, CEO of Mother of Eden, Inc., these multi-colored poop-catchers do more than just catch human…

I've been using Baby Beehinds (www.babybeehinds.com.au) cloth nappies with our daughter since she was born 11 weeks ago - and they're fantastic. They're made from eco-friendly all-natural materials (hemp and bamboo) which is a big reason for us buying them in the first place. Well worth checking out - and if you're ordering from outside Australia they'll most-likely save you money on the currency conversion. Not affiliated - just a happy user testimonial.
