Who knew that barcodes could be so much fun? Barcodes are the machine-readable representation of information most of us are familiar with. A Japanese firm named D-Barcode has been "decorating" these codes and their products are now used all over Japan. Great, fun concept. |
Guys, this is old news. This company got for this design innovation the Titanium Award at Cannes Festival in summer 2006. Cannes Festival is the most prestigious advertising festival in the world. The agency I'm working in made an entire campaign last year for an unconventional advertising festival. The entire campaign was based on the fact that a guy was selling advertising space for the afterlife.
