They're called ballet shoes/boots and they're not meant for everyday wear, obviously. They're meant for bdsm scene and you have to work up to wearing these for any amount of time.

I'm just wondering if she realizes that these are "horse play" boots. If you don't know what I mean, look it up. But, I would assume someone said, "These boots are $1000 and brand new" and, being the trend whore she is, she had to wear them in public. I hope she knows she'll know be the posterchild for horse play.

Great concept! If this actually works, it could actually help those women who are afraid to go have mammograms done or forget to self-exam. I hope they can hurry the technology along so this is available sooner rather than later!

Oh, fantastic! Yes, let's replicate this around the world and waste that much more water! Did anyone even consider the environmental impact of a pool of this magnitude? Even a small pool wastes a large amount of water through cleaning processes and evaporation. I can't imagine the impact this monstrosity would cause, for what? To get a page in the Guinness Book?

I think he should get credit for his attempt and the originality of the idea. That being said, the shoes look rather uncomfortable and not at all like "backward" heels. I could see the reverse idea more clearly with the embellishment on the heel rather than the toe. The heel under the ball of the foot just looks clumsy, not fashionable, and I can imagine it would take time to learn how to walk in these.
