I bought a whole series of the beautiful X-lite samsonites. Looked real great. Until one day, the bag got loaded on a plane, and burst. Samsonite not only says it's not their fault (may or may not be so), but refuse to repair it. EUR 500 down the drain. So far for "high resistance". And for Samsonite service - used to be better.
