Iggy, you make a good point. From what I read, I understood the projected cost estimate to be inclusive of a final 'system' rather than the batteries alone. But even if the estimate is only 1/3 of the final actual cost, the system may well offer environmental benefits and a cost-neutral alternate or adjunct to grid-tied power. Do I hear giggling? I used this method to clear 10 acres of unwanted blackberry vines. But goats will not be confined to eating only unwanted vegetation. In fact, there's no rule for goats.
