This is much like the Toto's washlet concept. For Americans to truly adopt it they have to realize that toilet paper sucks when compared to cleaning with water. Heck, when I wash my hands at most businesses they let you dry with warm air. Why not use water and warm air after toileting, makes sense to me. I think the crystal encrusted fridge is a little excessive but hits on a good point. I believe that customers will want the ability to customize their appliances to their own color choice. When you give people a choice to customize most prefer something that reflects them personally. Appliances will soon be available with custom faceplates I believe. Could you imagine choosing the exact finish you wanted on your kitchen faucet, color, texture, & add a texture or image engraved into it. People would eat that up and it would make the news everywhere.

I believe the temperature sensitive faucest have the least resistance to being adopted by the masses. We have children and it would be nice to have a LED light to let them visually know what the temperature is. I've seen LED attachments for faucets as inexpensive at $25. Think my kids would love that and it makes a great conversation piece.

The problem with urinals is that most women aren't as comfortable as men around them. Imagine have your best girlfriends over to your 1 million dollar condo and when they go to the bathroom they are assaulted by a urinal on the wall. Not sure if it will ever go mainstream.

Shen Di's got such an innovative approach to awaken our senses when we look at a faucet. Very rarely does a faucet catch my attention but this one jumps out to me. It seems from my research that this was only a prototype that was never actually produced. Does anyone know where you can buy this art piece?
