I think 'Deceitful' is too strong of a word to describe this shoot. It'd be deceitful if they used a lookalike or made her look like someone else in particular. This case is the opposite of that, they're actually not using her star power in exchange for a more artsy vibe.

This was an awesome artistic performance. The last bit when she starts bleeding after she plays the piano wildly, and is then hanging like a dead corpse from the rope while the clicks of the paparazzi start going crazy. So much social commentary that is beyond the novelty of a flashy pop performance. And notice that after this performance, she wore a blood-red Alexander McQueen with her face obstructed, in the aftermath of this struggle with fame. The whole evening was performance art, and each outfit was part of it, you just need to look deeper.

I agree with the point of this trend. Unless a device offers unparralleled efficiency & quality that cant be found in others, why buy a device that does one thing only when you have the option of having more features?

I'm not sure the term 'self-service' applies here, its just a hotel room with a mini-kitchen. pretty weird if they're finding it novel.

The featured video in which he talks about the perfumes is from June 2008, so I would guess this perfume is too old for a trend now in Sep 2009.
