I think it depends on what apps are downloaded. The iFart, Woo! Button, Sound Effects, etc get old and lose their novelty after a day--or less. But I've used TwitterFon, TwitterTrend, AIM, TMZ, Facebook, Tumble, Last.fm, AmbiSci BP, Mint, Banking, and PayPal multiple times per day over the past year. These power apps are consistently at the top of the category lists in the App Store, so it's hard to believe they would lose their relevance after a day.
