Jim Sturgess – keep this name in mind. You will hear about him a lot in 2008. The Cyberculture Movement - Are We Moving Towards Being 'Borgs'?The Cyberculture Movement - Are We Moving Towards Being 'Borgs'?
In fact the club culture now is filled with a disco resurgence and that is a real trend in terms of electronic music. As of fashion, cyberculture looks are not a trend right now. Hi Lacy: Cyberculture has been in the US for at least 20 years. American sci-fi writer William Gibson, who coined the term cyberspace and inspired Matrix, has been a raved spokes person for this movement for more than 25 years. Unfortunately to say cyberculture is a "new trend" is really wrong. You should reasearch more about it. By the way, electronic music was invented in Detroit, even if it has always had more success in Europe. Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson and Afrika Bambaataa, this is the origins of electronic music. All american. RU Sirius had a magazine, Mondo 2000, that was published throughout the nineties and it was all about cyberculture. It's definitely not a trend.
